You must be actively involved in your family business, family office, or family philanthropy, or on a clear path to it. Starting a family portfolio company qualifies. So does building experience elsewhere (e.g., at a VC firm) with the intent to bring it back. NxGeN is referral-based; referrals expedite applications. Without one, we ask to speak with two references in the family office space.

2 / Interview

Every applicant meets with our founding team personally. The conversation covers your background, your reasons for joining, what you intend to give and receive from the community, and your character and fit. Strong mutual alignment is the goal.

3 / Club Veto

Trust is a shared responsibility. Member references help expedite applications, and active members can flag concerns about anyone applying. We rely on our community to help ensure no bad actor ever compromises what's been built here.

4 / Review

Our founding team reviews every application personally. We look at your background, your involvement in your family enterprise, your references, and anything we can verify publicly. We're checking that you're actively involved or on a real path to involvement, and that the character we read aligns with the community already here. Every member is approved by hand to maintain the integrity of what's been built.

5 / Invite

If you're approved, you'll be invited to join after paying your dues. You'll get immediate access to our digital platform and a welcome call with our team so your experience in NxGeN starts off on the right foot.

6 / Neighborhood Circle Placement

Your Neighborhood Circle is the small, in-person group you'll meet with on a consistent basis. We curate placement carefully by geography, life stage, and the kind of people we know will sharpen you. We take the time to get this right because your Circle is the part of NxGeN you'll feel most.
